Salmon Falls/Sweetwater Loop features 8 miles of hiking trails near Sacramento, CA.
Take Hwy 50 east from Sacramento, exit at Folsom Blvd exit, and turn left on Folsom Blvd. Continue on Folsom Blvd to Green Valley Rd. Turn right on Green Valley Rd. Stay on Green Valley Rd until Salmon Falls Rd. Turn Left on Salmon Falls, continue on Salmon Falls Rd for 3 or 4 miles, Trailhead is on a sharp left hand turn, on the left side. If you get to the Salmon Falls Bridge, you went to far. Parking is in a little parking area, or alongside of the road. Alternately you can continue up the road and park in the SRA parking, and start the trail from that side.<br />
